P&T Medical Ltd

Our Story

P&T Medical Limited was founded by Paul and Natasha, a husband-and-wife team whose shared passion for high-quality, compassionate healthcare inspired the creation of the company. The name P&T reflects this partnership — Paul (P) and Natasha, more commonly known as Tasha (T) — and the family values that sit at the heart of everything we do.

Paul began his healthcare career in 2002 with the ambulance service, starting as a call taker before progressing through a variety of clinical and leadership roles within the control room and on the frontline. After completing his Paramedic degree, Paul continued to develop his career, ultimately progressing into a Clinical Lead role. Following many years of service, he moved into general practice, working as a Paramedic across several GP surgeries, a role he continues alongside completing his Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) training.

Throughout his career, Paul has developed a strong passion for education and training, gaining a recognised teaching qualification and specialising in cardiology and ECG interpretation. Training and professional development are a key focus of P&T Medical, and an area Paul is deeply committed to expanding through the company.

Natasha began her healthcare journey at the age of 17 as a nursing auxiliary in a care home, before working at Melksham Community Hospital while raising their two children. Following the hospital’s closure, she took the leap into nurse training and qualified as a Registered Nurse in 2010. Since then, Natasha has worked at the Great Western Hospital, specialising in acute stroke care.

Natasha has an unwavering belief that everyone deserves outstanding care, delivered in a way that respects individual choice, dignity and independence. Her vision for P&T Medical is to create a happy, respected and well-supported workforce, where staff are valued, developed and empowered — enabling them to deliver truly exceptional care and make every client feel important, cared for and valued.

When Paul and Natasha first discussed what they jokingly referred to as a “pipe dream,” they were acutely aware that neither came from a business or finance background. Rather than discouraging them, this reinforced their determination to build a company rooted not in profit alone, but in values, integrity and genuine care. They were clear about what mattered most: treating care clients with the same respect, compassion and dignity they would want for their own loved ones, while creating a local workforce for the local community.

P&T Medical was created in response to years of working in environments where staff felt unsupported, training was lacking and financial targets too often outweighed people. We wanted to be different — a company people want to work for and clients actively choose, because of the way we treat both our staff and those we support.

To strengthen the business and share the workload, it felt only right to bring family into the venture. Natasha’s sister Vicky, an experienced healthcare professional, was the first to join, alongside her husband Andy. Vicky began her career at 18, working across several care homes and at Melksham Community Hospital. Like Natasha, she progressed through nursing and has since completed her Advanced Clinical Practitioner training. Having worked together in multiple settings, Natasha and Vicky had long shared the dream of running a service that truly put people before process.

Andy brings a valuable non-clinical perspective, having built his career within the Ministry of Defence. His experience, structure and strategic thinking add balance and strength to the leadership team.

The wider family soon followed. Jacob (Jake) — Vicky’s eldest son and Natasha’s nephew — joined alongside his fiancée Kelly. Jake has a strong aptitude for technology, marketing and advertising, bringing essential digital expertise to the business, while Kelly contributes valuable hands-on experience from working within a local residential care home in Melksham.

Together, we are building P&T Medical Limited as a family-led organisation, grounded in compassion, professionalism and community — with a clear commitment to doing things the right way.
